Name: Sydney Law School
Location: University of Sydney, Camperdown, New South Wales
Following the completion of the new Sydney Law School building, LSJ Architects were engaged to develop an Interpretation Strategy and to design meaningful interpretation panels. Two panels were proposed, one to address the early of the site, its pre-colonial use, Grose’s Farm and the foundation of the university; and the other to identify the two buildings demolished to accommodate the new law school, the Edgeworth David Building and the Stephen Roberts Lecture Theatre, both designed by architects Stafford Moor and Farrington in the 1960s.
