Name: Inventory of Settles and Benches
Location: University of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

The Inventory of Settles and Benches is a photographic record and description of the different styles of settles and benches located within the vestibules, foyers, corridors and common areas of a number of pre-1950s buildings at the University of Sydney.

The survey was carried out by surveying the Camperdown and Darlington campuses and recording the location and style of settles and benches located within the public areas and common rooms of the buildings. Thirty-five settles and benches and nine garden benches were recorded in the curtilage of the historic buildings.

A report format was developed to enable this inventory to be expanded when additional settles and benches are recorded.
