The Brisbane GPO is of a complex of five interconnected buildings included on the Commonwealth Heritage List located between Queen and Elizabeth Streets in the Brisbane CBD. Primarily built over the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, the complex includes the old General Post Office, the old Electric Telegraph Office, the original Parcel Post Building, the Operations Building and the old Telegraph Stores.
